The building housing the restaurant is listed as a ´Grade
One´ preservation project, the highest listing for architecturally important
buildings in Tel-Aviv. The house was first commissioned as the first hotel in
Tel-Aviv at the 1920´s. it was commissioned by a prominent wealthy family to
become "Hotel America" a safe haven for the British troops stationed
in Israel at those years. The original painted floors and wall paintings had
been meticulously restored to their original glory.
